How Do I Turn An Open Window (like Internet Explorer) Sideways By Pressing A Certain Button Combonation?

My friend said there was a way to turn an open program, like internet explorer, side ways by pressing a certain button combonation… but i cant remember what button combo it is… can u help me? By the way, I have windows/ PC. Thanks!

    i know for a fact that CTRL+ALT+ and the arrow keys rotate your
    screen left or right, ONLY with certain intel cards for some reason? Also, my old NVIDIA graphics card did the same thing.
    Don’t know what purpose this served, i guess you could turn your monitor upside down and use the software to rotate your screen rightside up??? who knows.

    Ctrl/Alt and left or right arrow. As far as I am aware, this is only for notebooks not desktops.
