How Do I Fix This Problem With Internet Explorer?
Whenever I bring up some web pages, such as my email page or something it comes up at the top of the window. ‘Your security settings do not allow websites to use ActiveX controls installed on your computer. This page may not display correctly.’ How do I fix this!?
tools
internet optionssecurity tab
Internet icon – custom level
look for any thing that says activeX, and change the settings to Prompt me, or allow. I’d also remember which ones you changed, or once done, chenge them back to toeh default levels.
I don;t recommend changing them all to “allow” – permanently, – it may cause some serious damage to the security and permissions, and end up causing nightmares later on.
Well, just follow these steps, then you can solve it.
1.Launch your internet explorer, and see the ‘Tool’ on the top?
2.If you see that, click Tool ——> internet option
3.then in ‘internet option’,you can see ’security tab’ on the top, click it.
4.Low down the cookies level, just pull the block down to the lowest.and click ‘ok’.
That will be Ok~
If my answers can help you, just choose mine as the best answer, thx~~
Tools(menu) ->Internet Options… ->Security(tab) ->Custom Level… (button). In the new opened windows find “Run ActiveX controls and plug-ins” and enable it. Have fun.
