Adding A New Password To Firefox Problem?

Submitted by admin on September 25, 2009 – 4:20 amOne Comment

On one of the sites I have pressed ‘Never for this site’ on firefox, I know need to add one, as I have changed my username for it. How can I add this to my firefox remember?
I have tried the bookmark way, but it doesn’t work. Firefox version is the latest 3.0, whatever it is.

Right now the current version of firefox is 3.5.2, make sure you upgraded from firefox 3.0 (not related to your problem, but a good thing to check)
    Go to tools>options>security tab
Under ‘passwords’ section, select the button ‘exceptions that appears next to the checkbox ‘remember passwords for sites’
Find the site you clicked ‘never for this site’ on and remove it. This should prompt you to save the password the website. If it doesn’t, go to the list of saved passwords (in the same section as before) and see if the website is in the list. If it is, delete it. Then go back to the site, login, and this should prompt you to save the password/username on that site.
